Resolution No. 2011-53: A Resolution confirming the action of the Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Mayfield Heights in upholding the decision of the Director of Building, Denying a request by Howard Sonenstein, on behalf of Sharona Properties, LLC, for a concrete/asphalt curb cut permit for the property located at 1413 Golden Gate Boulevard in the City of Mayfield Heights. (on 10/24/11, no suspension)
Resolution No. 2011-58: A Resolution confirming the action of the Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Mayfield Heights in granting to ThenDesign Architecture, on behalf of the Mayfield Board of Education, a request for a variance to allow 67 square feet of signage per side on a wall 8’1†x 12’8†at the property located at 1123 SOM Center Road. (on 10/24/11, no suspension)
Resolution No. 2011-59: A Resolution confirming the action of the Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Mayfield Heights in denying to ThenDesign Architecture, on behalf of the Mayfield Board of Education, a request for a variance to include LED Graphics within the main identification sign at 1123 SOM Center Road. (on 10/24/11, no suspension)
8. RESOLUTIONS:
2011-62: A Resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to transfer funds in accordance with amounts listed in Ordinance Nos. 2011-9 and 2011-24.
2011-63: A Resolution accepting a quotation for medical and prescription group health insurance (CIGNA HeathCare).
2011-64: A Resolution accepting a quotation for dental insurance (Guardian Life Insurance Co.).
2011-65: A Resolution accepting a quotation for vision insurance (Ameritas Group).
2011-66: A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to enter into an agreement with the Village of Gates Mills for the furnishing of mutual fire protection for both municipalities for the year 2012 and declaring an emergency.
2011-67: A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to issue a purchase order to Greve Chrysler for the purchase of a vehicle for the Police Department.
2011-68: A Resolution declaring strong opposition to the State of Ohio taking over the collection of the Municipal Income Tax.
2011-69: A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute (and join) the Cuyahoga County Business Attraction and Anti-Poaching Agreement.
2011-70: A Resolution approving the execution of extension agreements between the City of Mayfield Heights and the unions extending the statutory time periods required by Ohio R.C. 4117.
9. ORDINANCES:
2011-24: An Ordinance amending Ordinance Nos. 2011-9, 2011-14, 2011-17 and 2011-18 the appropriation expenditures of the City of Mayfield Heights, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2011, specifically the transfer and supplemental appropriation of funds in various accounts, and declaring an emergency.
2011-25: An Ordinance making appropriation for current expenditures of the City of Mayfield Heights, State of Ohio, during the period of January 1, 2012 to and including March 31, 2012.
2011-26: An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of Mayfield Heights to amend and update the deferred compensation plan and custodial agreement with the Hartford Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company on behalf of the City employees who voluntarily join the plan.
2011-27: An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of Mayfield Heights to amend and update the deferred compensation plan and custodial agreement with the Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company (VALIC) on behalf of the City employees who voluntarily join the plan.
10. MOTIONS:
To authorize payment of $12,969.62 to Universal Oil, Inc. for gasoline for various departments.
To approve the sale of a 2000 Crown Victoria and a 2003 Crown Victoria to Sulli Motors for $927 each, a total of $1,854.
