SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA

1.         Call to order and roll call.

2.         Pledge of Allegiance.

3.         Acceptance of minutes of last meeting (6/28/10).

4.         Comments from the Public.  Please note:  Each person will get five minutes to speak with a maximum of 30 minutes for the public portion per Section 121.02 (h)(8) of the Codified Ordinances.

5.         RESOLUTIONS:

2010-51:        A Resolution accepting a certain bid for salt.

2010-52:        A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Tri-City Consortium on Aging to provide professional services for seniors.

2010-53:        A Resolution amending Resolution No. 2010-41 accepting a certain bid for bocce court pavilion construction (Classical Construction, LLC).

6.         ORDINANCES:

2010-15:        An Ordinance prohibiting the sale and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages on City property at certain City sponsored events and declaring an emergency.

2010-16:        An Ordinance - special purpose flood damage reduction. (First reading)

7.         MOTIONS:

To confirm the decision of the Planning Commission approving a request by the North Union Farmer's Market to operate a farmer's market in the parking lot on Thursdays between July 29, 2010 and September 30, 2010 at the Hillcrest Hospital North Campus, 6777 Mayfield Road.

To authorize payment of $12,792.41 to Great Lakes Petroleum Company for gasoline fuel for various departments.
