On Sunday April 27th at sunrise- 6:29am, Cleveland native and Mayfield Heights resident, Gary Pearlman aka Dr. U.R. Awesome will attempt to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the Largest Free Floating Soap Bubble created outdoors.  The GWR will be attempted at the Ross DeJohn Community Center located at 6306 Marsol Road (behind the Golden Gate Shopping Center).  For more information visit our Facebook page (City of Mayfield Heights Parks & Recreation).

Details: Location is the Ross DeJohn Community Center.  Entertainment by String Fever with James Kelley.
Menu:  Hamburger with choice of BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese & onion, kettle chips, cole slaw, dessert, coffee & water.

Italian Picnic
Date:  Tuesday June 6, 2014
Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Cost: $10 per person

Your Kid is Not Going Pro

 Ohio Concussion Law

Starting April 26th, 2013, Ohio law (ORC 3707.511) requires a youth sports organization to provide a sheet to the parent or other guardian of an individual who wishes to practice for or compete in an athletic activity organized by the organization that details concussion symptoms.  In addition, all volunteer coaches will be required to take a 10-15 minute concussion awareness test.  These tests are available at:
