8. RESOLUTIONS:

2007-31: A Resolution accepting a bid for an Emergency Advisory Radio Station Information Station Specialists).

2007-32: A Resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to transfer funds in accordance with amounts listed in Ordinance No. 2007-23.

2007-33: A Resolution adopting the Alternative Tax Budget Information Format of the City of Mayfield Heights, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year 2008.

2007-34: A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to apply for, and if awarded, enter into an agreement through the Office of the Ohio Attorney General, to administer a Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Law Enforcement Grant within the City of Mayfield Heights and declaring an emergency.

TABLED ITEMS:

Resolution No. 2007-29: A Resolution confirming the action of the Planning Commission of the City of Mayfield Heights in approving the final site plan for the addition of a 2,816 square foot fueling facility at the Costco Store located at 1409 Golden Gate Boulevard, Mayfield Heights, Ohio. (on 6/11/07, with suspension)

2007-35: A Resolution accepting a certain bid for crack sealing of various city streets and surface treating pavement and pavement repair in various streets (Specialized Construction, Inc.).

2007-36: A Resolution accepting a certain bid for surface treating pavement with a rejuvenating agent for various city streets (Pavement Technology).

9. ORDINANCES:

2007-28: An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of Mayfield Heights to enter into a collective bargaining contract with the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, for the purpose of achieving and maintaining harmonious relations between the City and its Communication Officers.

2007-29: An Ordinance authorizing Mayor of the City of Mayfield Heights to enter into a collective bargaining contract with the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, Police Patrolmen Bargaining Unit, for the purpose of achieving and maintaining harmonious relations between the City and its Police Force.

2007-30: An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $4,300,000 Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, for the purpose of improving the Municipal Complex by constructing, equipping and furnishing a fire station, constructing, renovating, equipping, furnishing and improving administrative and other offices and facilities, improving parking facilities and landscaping an making other site improvement, all together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and declaring an emergency.

2007-31: An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $2,700,000 Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, for the purpose of providing funds to pay a portion of the settlement of claims approved by the Court as final judgment rendered against the City in an action for compensation in the Court of Common Pleas, Probate Division, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, being Case No. 2003 ADV 75209 entitled City of Mayfield Heights, Ohio vs. Michael A. Shemo, and declaring an emergency.

10. MOTIONS:

To confirm the decision of the Planning Commission approving a directional sign for Gates Mills Independent Living at 6759 Mayfield Road.

To confirm the decision of the Planning Commission approving the preliminary/final site plan for Park Ohio Industries for the expansion of the parking lot at 6065 Parkland Boulevard provided the plan meets the requirements of the City Engineer.

To authorize payment of $13,134.74 to Universal Oil, Inc. for gasoline for various departments.

To authorize the Mayor to purchase 15 Model AR1234 rifles, four magazine loaders and 12 magazines from Cherokee Arms in the amount of $13,763.00.

To rescind the authorization for the Mayor to purchase 15 Model AR1234 rifles and two magazine loaders from Rock River Arms in the amount of $13,771.00 approved at the June 11, 2007 Council meeting.

To recess the regularly scheduled Council meetings of July and August.
