Youth Community Classes

C.A.T.S. (Citizens Academy for Teen Students)

The Mayfield Heights Police Department will be holding a Citizens Academy for Teenage Students (C.A.T.S), modeled after the successful Citizens’ Police Academy.  C.A.T.S. is for any young man or woman in grades 8-12, who live in the Mayfield School District.  This program is perfect for those with an interest in a career in law enforcement or just a desire to learn the why’s and how’s of being a police officer.  The program is designed to give the teens the opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at how a police department functions.
