New classes for 2020

Exercise Evolution


Are you interested in losing your COVID-19 (pounds)? Exercise Evolution is an innovative and energetic way to boost your metabolism and build your personal strength at your level. We use different music and movement sequences to keep your muscles guessing and your strength increasing! We promote safe personal progression and aligned form to get the most out of your time and efforts. And, we have a bunch of fun too!


Monday & Wednesday

$75 per person for 10 classes



Tai Chi 

Tai Chi is great for beginners and experienced practitionors alike. With movements from Yang Style 108 and Qiging (Chee-Gong) you will learn how this art form is not only good for self-defense but for realxation, balance, core and lower body strength. Other health benefits include : enhance mental capacity, reduces blood pressure and arthritis pain.

Monday Yoga

Class begins with a social session to find out if participants have any health issues and thier level of skill. The class atmosphere allows participants to enjoy the health benefits of yoga. Registration deadline is one week prior to the session start date. 

Minimum 8 participants per session.

Meditation for Healthy Aging

Learn how to relax and de-stress through Meditation

Reserve a chair for a FREE class at the Ross DeJohn Community Center (6306 Marsol)

Located at DeJohn Community Center.
For adults (18+)  
Sessions are 6 weeks
Registration deadline is one week prior to class start date.
Class begins with a social session to find out if the participants have any health injuries, and the level of yoga skill. The warm-up is initiated with numerous relaxing breathing techniques. The class flows into balancing and alignment moves- various modifications and explanation on the yoga poses are given. The sun salutation session flows smoothly with creative verbal and physical illustrations on the correct yoga alignment. As an instructor, I have compassion to instruct workout partners on the necessity of living a life of wellness that includes the following areas: Physically, mentally and spiritually. The class atmosphere allows participants to enjoy the health benefits of yoga while working-out in a fun, relaxing and friendly environment.  Min 8

Basic Life Support, Heartsaver AED, First Aid and Stop the Bleed Classes

All CPR Classes are suspended until further notice.  Please check back periodically.

The Mayfield Heights Fire Department will be hosting Basic Life Support and Heartsaver AED Classes each 2nd Wednesday of the month.  In addition, there are 2 separate dates that they will host a First Aid class and a Stop the Bleed class.  Participants will receive a card for Basic Life Support, Heartsaver AED, and First Aid only.  NO cards will be issued for Stop the Bleed, instead participants will recieve a certificate.  All classes are held in the Mayfield Heights Fire Department Training Room.  All classes will begin at 6:00 PM.  To enter the Fire Department, you will park in the back parking lot of City Hall, buzz the back door to the Fire Department where someone will direct you to the room.  Participants must be 10 years of age or older.  Class costs vary.  See below for pricing information.
